Lifestyle (prior to program):
Couch Potato.
Background: Ever since childhood i have worried about my weight (even when i was a size 10 as a teenager!). Now i feel as if i am succeeding in many areas of my life but i have no control over this one. I Have known about the BFL programme for some time know and have eventually gathered the impetus to make a change. I am training to work in healthcare and i cannot cope with the idea of dishing out advice on staying healthy to patients when i obviously don't manage it myself. I plan to lead by example and hopefully inspire others to follow.
Goals: I'm going to regain control of my life and feel stronger and healthier. Next summer i am planning to go on a trekking holiday with my partner. We've always wanted to go but i've shirked away from it due to my weight and fitness. I plan to loose 60lbs overall. I have already lost 27lbs in challenge 1 and my aim for challenge 2 in to lose 38. During challenge 1 I went from a UK size 18/20 trousers to a 14/16 and by the end of challenge 2 I aim to be a size 12/14. I will be able to do 10 full push-ups (hopefully more!) I will have control over my diet again and will be working out regularly and this control will be reflected in other areas of my life. I will have respect for myself and will be proud of my acheivement. I will reduce my risk of hypertension and diabetes.
